The range of the Porsche 911 is constantly being expanded, because after the introduction of the entry-level model last month, now follows the 911 Carrera with four-wheel drive, the so-called Carrera 4.
The new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is powered by a 385 hp 3.0-liter engine, which distributes its power across all four wheels. The engine is linked to an automatic transmission.
The Carrera 4 speeds in 4.2 seconds to 100 kilometers per hour. The Cabriolet version needs 4.4 seconds for the same sprint. If you have your 911 Carrera 4 fitted with the Sport Chrono package, you will gain a time gain of 0.2 seconds. The top speed of the dense 911 Carrera 4 is 291 kilometers per hour, that of the open version is 289 kilometers per hour.
The Carrera 4 is equipped with adjustable dampers and 19-inch front wheels as standard. Porsche mounts 20-inch wheels at the rear. For an additional charge it can also be a size bigger in front and behind.
The new version will be released in the Netherlands at the end of October. Prices are not yet known.
