The new all-electric Honda-e will cost around € 34,000 in the Netherlands, the brand has announced. The first copies are expected on the market in 2020.
The luxurious version will cost between 37,000 and 38,000 euros. The Honda-e is in all cases equipped with a battery pack of 35.5 kWh, which brings the car about 220 kilometers away.
The Honda is equipped with cameras instead of exterior mirrors. The traditional set of instruments has also been replaced by a large screen.
The prices and specifications of the Honda correspond to those of the main competitor: the Mini Electric. This car has a battery pack of 32.6 kWh, with which 235 kilometers must be possible. The Mini costs at least 34,900 euros.
Cars like the electric Opel Corsa and Peugeot 208 have a comparable purchase price, but are 330 and 340 kilometers away respectively.
