An Australian woman who lives north of Perth has sued her neighbors for installing a grill in the garden. The reason for his disgust is peculiar: the smell of roasted food, particularly that of food derived from animals, seems unbearable since it is vegan .
In addition to the smell given off by the food consumed by its neighbors, which is usually fish, Cilla Carden also complained about cigarette smoke and annoying noises. That is why he denounced Toan Vu , his neighbor, before the local justice.
In statements published by the British newspaper The Guardian , Cilla Carden explains that she has no quality of life: "They placed a grill and I only smell fishy, I can only smell fishy. I can't enjoy my garden, I can't leave home anymore " .
Carden took the case to court in 2017 and maintained a legal battle until the final sentence: the Perth Supreme Court dismissed his case and proved the neighbor right.
In the sentence it can be read that "Mrs. Carden was given a fair opportunity to present her case, and the members of the court conducted the proceedings fairly and appropriately." Now, the authorities invite the neighbors to "direct and spend their energies in resolving their differences as best they can ."
For his part, Toan Vu is not Carden's first neighbor to have problems with her: another man was forced to remove his grill from Carden's constant claims.
