Samsung would work on a square version of its folding smartphone. The South Korean company would like to unveil the device in early 2020, Bloomberg reports.
The updated version of the Galaxy Fold would have a screen of 6.7 inches when folded, compared to the 7.3 inches in the first version of the foldable smartphone. When folded, the screen would be square, opposite the rectangular design in the first model.
According to a Bloomberg source, the new folding phone would also be provided with a hole in the screen for the selfie camera. On the outside, the phone is said to have two camera lenses.
Samsung unveiled its original Galaxy Fold in February. The device would actually come on the market in May in the Netherlands, but was delayed due to screen problems. According to rumors, the original Galaxy Fold will be released in September.
