The Twitter account of CEO Jack Dorsey was in the hands of hackers for almost half an hour on Friday night. Dozens of racist tweets were sent from the @Jack account and threatened with a bomb at Twitter's San Francisco headquarters.
Twitter says in a response to investigate the leak. The tweets would have been put online via Cloudhopper, a service that allows tweets to be sent by SMS. Twitter took over the company years ago.
A hackers group called Chuckling Squad is said to be behind the hack. Earlier they would have taken over accounts of comedian King Bach and YouTube star James Charles.
The last time the Twitter CEO's account was hacked was in 2016, when the group OurMine posted messages on the timeline of the account. Dorsey has almost four million followers on the social media platform.
