Non-regular workers of GM Korea (GM) entered the high altitude by calling for the reinstatement of workers who were dismissed due to the closure of the Gunsan factory on the employer's side and the reduction of the work schedule.

According to the Korea GM's Non-regular Jobs Branch, a layoff worker started high altitude from 4 am today on the 9-meter-high steel tower in front of the main gate of the GM Korea Bupyeong plant in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.

Non-regular workers said GM Korea closed the Gunsan plant last year and reduced the work of two shifts at the Bupyeong 2 plant to one shift. Resolved.

They are calling for the reinstatement of 46 non-regular workers who have been dismissed from Gunsan and Bupyeong factories.

Tomorrow, 25 non-regular workers and 25 laid off workers in the Gunsan and Bupyeong factories will join the indefinite group fast.

Hwang Ho-in, chairman of Korea's Bupyeong Non-regular Workers Group, said, “There are no deadlines for the promotion,” he said.

Previously, the GM Korea Non-regular Workers' Office accused the employer of an illegal dispatch of non-regular workers from partner companies last January, but the investigation has not been finalized.

The Ministry of Employment, Incheon Northern Branch and Changwon Branch finalized last year's investigation and sent comments to the prosecution that 1,662 non-regular workers from GM's Bupyeong and Changwon Plants were considered illegal dispatches. I'm working.
