A South Korean male who was named as the perpetrator of the alleged assault on the Hong Kong Japanese Women's Assault video was taken to the police for investigation.

The Seoul Mapo Police Station was sent to the police station after the Korean man A was called to the police station.

The police confirmed Mr. A's identity and reportedly sent an investigator to Mr. A's residence at random around 1 pm today.

At about 3:40 pm after leaving the investigation, A left the police station with a black mask and a hat.

He also denied allegations that the footage was "manipulated and never assaulted."

The police are also calling on the Japanese women who appeared in the video to confirm the damage.

The video, which was released on SNS the day before, shows a man on the street threatening to follow the videographer, degrading Japanese people and women, and swearing.

In the video in question, a picture of a man assaulting a victim who appears to be a female has also come up.

The victim claimed that while walking in front of Hongdae, the man in question followed him with swearing and assault.

The Twitter user who uploaded this picture added in Japanese, "Koreans continued to rant and discriminate."
