When Korea-Japan relations are as bad as they are these days, online controversy has spread over Korean men's swearing and assault on Japanese women. The police set out to find out what happened.

It was a picture uploaded on Twitter of a Japanese woman last night (23rd).

On a street in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Korean men continue to swear by Japanese women.

On the Twitter of another Japanese woman who was there, there was a picture of this Korean man severely assaulting a Japanese woman.

The affected Japanese women said on Twitter that 'Korean men continued to rebel and followed and caught their heads and assaulted their heads.'

The video and photos spread rapidly over the Internet overnight, and opinions were raised among Korean netizens that they should find and punish Korean men.

As the controversy grew, the Japanese women tweeted about 2 am today saying, "It's just one bad behavior and not Korea's fault."

Police say no victims have been filed, but they are evaluating the case and the history of the incident.
