The threatening client, who was known to police and justice for traffic offenses, "acknowledged and assumed the facts" during his hearing.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody in Guéret, Creuse, on Tuesday for threatening a McDonald's employee in the city, following a mistake in the order, learned AFP Thursday police source. He will face "death threats" in a trial scheduled for December 4 before the Criminal Court of Gueret.

"I'm going to kill you"

The first facts go back to Wednesday, August 7th. Everything would be from an order made by the man, and served by mistake to someone else. As a commercial gesture, the waitress then offered this customer to offer him a Sundae, a small vanilla ice cream. But the latter became angry and asked for a McFlurry, a larger ice cream.

At the end of the young woman's service, the dissatisfied customer followed her into the car park, then to her home before threatening her with death. "He told him 'I am going to kill you'," the Gueret police station told AFP, confirming information from La Montagne. Fearing for her safety, the waitress then returned to her workplace.

Threats at the waitress's home

Four days later, on Sunday, August 11, the man again showed up at the waitress's house and reiterated his threats. The companion of the fast-food employee intervened. It was after this second episode that the victim complained. The threatening client, who was known to the police and the judiciary for traffic offenses but not for acts of violence, "acknowledged and assumed the facts" during his hearing, according to the police source.

This week, a bar manager was killed, in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Seine-Saint-Denis after refusing to serve a drunk client, a few days after the death of a server of a fast-food restaurant shot in this same department for having delayed to prepare a sandwich.
