A 10-year-old child who played in a pension-run water facility was trapped inside a cylindrical slide and became unconscious.

Yesterday (19th), according to the Hwasun Police Station on Jeonnam, three children, including 10-year-old Park-Mo, who rode a cylindrical slide, were trapped in the middle of the water playground at a pension at 11 p.m. When the passengers heard that they were saved from the inside, they immediately rescued, but Park, who could not breathe as the water quickly filled up in the cylinder, was in serious condition.

The accident occurred when two tubes, 10 cm in diameter than the slide cylinder, were not caught in the middle. Children who first slided before Park Yang announced this after the tube was caught in the cylinder, but the safety officers were reportedly not taking any action.

In the meantime, Park Yang went down and was caught in a tube, but before Park was able to get out of the cylinder, the security guard was disguised by sending other children down again.

Police officers found security workers to be part-time workers without a rescue or first aid certificate. The police are planning to charge four persons, including a pension operator, a safety manager and a safety officer, on account of their misconduct.
