Today, on July 18, around 7:25 am, an equivalent fishing boat on Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do was rescued in the seascape.
According to the Tongyeong Maritime Police Station, the captain of the 7.31t fishing boat carrying 12 crew members attempted to move after fishing on board the sea and drifted due to a malfunction of the steering system.
The maritime police sent a 500-t patrol boat to tow the ship to safe waters and then handed over to the coastal rescue boat.
A maritime official said, "Failure of engines and controls can lead to safety accidents."
