The police are reviewing whether or not to disclose the personal information of suspect A, a so-called 'Hang River torso', a brutal murder.

The Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency said today (19) it will hold a new disclosure committee to determine whether and how much of A's identity is disclosed.

The Exclusion Act on the Punishment of Specific Forces of Offenses allows the face to be disclosed 'when there is sufficient evidence to believe that the offender was cruel and the victim of a particular offense with serious damage had committed it.'

Mr. A was detained on Monday after killing guest B at his motel in Guro-gu, Seoul.

A said in a police investigation, "The victim committed the crime by refusing to speak up and did not pay 40,000 won for accommodation."
