An 87-year-old was found unconscious, Monday night, in his room of a retirement home for dependent people in Maisse, Essonne. She was a health care aide who found her inanimate and tried to resuscitate her, to no avail. In the victim's room was another boarder holding a pillow in his hand, according to information collected by Europe 1.
The hypothesis of a death by privileged smothering
The doctor who noted the death of the old lady, confirmed the hypothesis of a death by suffocation. The gendarmerie was alerted and opened an investigation. But the resident targeted by the suspicion of murder was not placed in police custody because of his state of health. This 86-year-old man is reported to be suffering from behavioral problems.
