Around 9am yesterday, a member of the Han River Business Division patrolled near the southern end of Magok Bridge in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, found a man's body floating on the river.

The body was found with only the upper body without head and limbs.

Police consider the body condition to be abandoned within a week.

He also believes that something has been cut off by the body, which is likely to be associated with a violent crime.

Police sent the recovered bodies to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to identify them.

So far, the exact identity has not been determined, but the first autopsy revealed that it appears to be the body of a man in his 20s and 30s, considering long-term conditions.

Immediately after the body was discovered, 120 police troops, search dogs, and drones were sent to search nearby, but there were no items that could identify additional bodies or identities that were damaged.

The police plan to set up a dedicated team to analyze the surrounding CCTVs and resume the search as soon as tomorrow.
