The police investigating the death of the rainwater drainage construction site at Mok-dong, Seoul, will join the National Institute of Scientific Investigations on Thursday (9th) to share their understanding of the accident site.

The Seoul Yangcheon Police Station announced today that it will be conducting site inspections involving the Ministry of Employment, Labor and the Ministry of Employment and Labor in the 40-meter underground channel at the rainwater drainage construction site in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul at 2 pm.

The police will look to see if the location of structures and facilities, such as moving stairs, is consistent with the statements made by site officials.

The accident occurred when three workers who were working in an underground waterway on 31st of March were swept away by rainwater pouring from the ground.

The police reported that four on-site officials, including the director of the site, were responsible for the accident.
