Hyundai has released a sketch of the new i10. The city car will be officially presented next month in Frankfurt. The current model was launched in 2013.
The appearance of the new Hyundai i10 seems to be an evolution of the current design, but a bit more aggressive. The daytime running lights, which were placed in the grille during the facelift from 2017, are retained.
The i10 is an important car for Hyundai in the Netherlands. Last year more than 6,000 went on license plate, but to date the counter is only on a small 2,300 copies. For comparison, the sister model of the i10, the Kia Picanto, was registered more than 5,700 times this year. However, this car was completely renewed in 2017.
Little is yet known about the engines and technology of the new i10, although it is expected that the new Hyundai city car will, like the Picanto, now also have a three-cylinder turbo engine.
