People who are a little higher up in the hot days like Seoul may not feel that the typhoon is approaching, but residents of the south coast have to worry about the coming typhoon. Our reporters went down to Tongyeong, near Geoje, Gyeongnam province, which I had seen earlier, and listened to the people there.

It is Choi Jae-young.

I went to a small town on the beach with about 100 households.

The first people I met in the village were my grandfathers who were over seventy.

[Lee Geum-joo / residents of Yeonmyeong Village: (Where did you come from when you came to the typhoon?) I came to tie the rope safely around the ship. (Did you finish well?) It is the virtue of heaven to finish well. I can not do it.

Though the typhoon was running away from the village, the anxiety was strong.

[Lee Kum-joo / residents of Yeonmyeong Village: (Will you come out again next time?) Yes. I'm going to go to the water. "

Dams, farms, etc., are the largest workplaces in the area, so many residents came to check farms.

[Villagers: I have this side and this cage. I check a lot of the rope that I tied under.]

When the rain came down, I went to the town hall.

For residents who have to hit the typhoon once or twice every year, the typhoon was a dreadful thing, big or small.

[Song HyunSun / villagers: Seoul does not know how the wind is blowing. A lot of people know that. People on the beach know. I really do not know Seoul (I'm excited when the typhoon happens.

I also met residents who felt that they had escaped the direct influence of the typhoon during the coverage.

[Lim, Seok-gwan / residents of Yeonmyeong Village: I have not seen the sea for 50 years. never. (Typhoon is not the sea to come?) You're welcome. (You need to get rid of the typhoon.) You do not have to leave it here.

The place where I am now is the marina of Yanmyeong village in Tongyoung, Kyungnam.

Today I (6 days) spent a whole day exploring how to prepare for typhoons in the south coast, especially around the beach. Many of the inhabitants of the Typhoon cicada remained traumatized 15 years ago. In this time, we were able to meet residents with leisure.

I hope the typhoon will land on the Korean peninsula soon.
