More than 140 people were diagnosed with heat due to heat waves in Daegu and Gyeongbuk this year.

Daegu City has said that 17 people have been diagnosed with fever since the first heat illness on June 19.

Of these, 15 were discharged after hospital treatment and 2 were still receiving treatment.

By age, 50s and 70s are the most common, with 5 each, 60s 2s, 20s 2s, 40s and 80s each.

In Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, 126 people have been suffering from heat illnesses so far and four people have been killed.

104 were discharged after treatment and 18 were inpatient treatment.

A 71-year-old A, who worked at a pepper field in Gyeongbuk, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, died yesterday (7 days) at around 7:10 pm.

Pohang had a high temperature of 34.1 degrees in the afternoon, and the fire department said that it appears that A was killed by a complication of a hyperthermia.

At around 5 pm on the third day, an 80-year-old woman died at the Goryeong-gun field with suspected heatstroke symptoms. At around 7:40 pm on the second day, 80 women were found dead in a Gimcheon jujube field.

An 80-year-old woman who was working in Qingdao's gardens fell to the hospital on June 23, but died.
