Academician Nikolai Kardashev died
In Moscow, at the age of 87, Nikolay Kardashev, academician, director of the Astro-cosmic center of the Lebedev Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, died.
This was announced by the head of the laboratory of extragalactic radio astronomy Institute Yuri Kovalev.
“Nikolai Semenovich Kardashev left us this morning, August 3, 2019,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
In 1964, Kardashev developed the scale of the level of development of civilizations, named after him.
May 24 in the United States died Nobel Prize in Physics Murray Gell-Mann.
