Facebook is continuing to develop its new device for video calls from televisions, which is due to launch this fall.

It is reported that the giant social networking has continued with Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Hulu, HBO and other media companies in order to get support for the development of broadcasting services on this device, according to the "Arab Technical News."

According to the project documents, the device uses the same visual communication technology as the smart home speaker with Facebook cameras, which is called Portal.

The new device, internally called Catalina, comes with real-time video and streaming services, like other TV platforms such as Apple TV, Roku or Fire TV.

Last year's news reports revealed Facebook's plans to make a TV-connected device, but without reporting the company's approach to media companies and its plans for the release date in the fall.

The device allows customers to connect a camera to their top TVs, eliminating the need for a dedicated video chat device.

Earlier, Facebook confirmed that it plans to release new forms of its brand products later this year.

Andrew Bosworth, vice president of Facebook for enhanced and virtual reality, said: "We have a lot to unveil later this fall in terms of its brand.

The broadcast service (Disney) is scheduled to arrive on November 12th, and every company that makes a live stream wants to be among their apps as quickly as possible.
