A woman in her thirties is believed to have committed an assault on a veterinarian south of Lyon last Sunday after the death of his Yorkie.

She would not have borne the death of her Yorkie, and she would then come back to battle with the vet. A woman is indeed suspected of aggression on a veterinarian after the death of his dog last Sunday in Lyon.

"She accused me of having euthanized her dog"

It all starts in mid-June, when a woman in her thirties brings her Yorkie suffering from pancreatitis to a veterinary clinic in Pierre-Bénite, south of Lyon. Very badly in point, the animal had to be transferred to a specialized center of Saint-Etienne to be operated, but it does not survive the assumption of responsibility.

Last Sunday, the owner of the animal would then have returned to the Pierre-Bénite clinic. "When she arrived, I made her go back to see her little dog, and she got upset," says the vet at the microphone of Europe 1. "She accused me of having euthanized her dog, of do not worry about it, then she turned around and gave me a big slap that made me fall to the ground, on the ear, "recalls the victim.

15 days of ITT

The young woman would then have gone with the body of her dog. But the vet, who does not feel safe, decides to go to the next bakery to ask someone to call the police and stay with her. A supposed gesture, to believe the rest of its history. "She was still so aggressive, and she hit me again despite the presence of the neighbor who is an ice cabinet," she says. "She said to me, 'I'm going to kill you, I'm going to kill you!'"

These two attacks will result in 15 days of ITT for the veterinarian. "I did not hear for two days, I have a subluxation of the jaw and bruises," said the veterinarian. For her part, the young woman was heard by the police, and must be heard by the Criminal Court of Lyon in December for voluntary violence.
