A terrible road trip killed three people in the night from Wednesday to Thursday in the Yonne. The accident occurred around 2:45 in Brienon-sur-Armançon, north of Auxerre. A young motorist lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree on the D943, according to information collected by Europe 1.
The driver and his two passengers, a man and a woman, all in their twenties, died on the spot. According to initial findings of the investigators, the excessive speed of the vehicle could be at the origin of the accident.
