Two men went to a chic hotel in the capital on Monday afternoon, they had an appointment with a woman who wanted to appraise a diamond of 43.5 carats. But during the examination of the stone, they managed to replace the diamond with a copy. The owner of this jewel worth 45 million euros did not see the deception once the two crooks left.

She filed a complaint and an investigation was entrusted to the brigade of repression of the banditry (BRB) of the judicial police of Paris.
