"Roskosmos" intends to test the new upper stage when starting the "Soyuz-2"

It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the materials of public procurement company.

“Creation of the Soyuz-2 space rocket complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome as regards the manufacture of a prototype of the upper stage for flight tests of the Fregat upper stage complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome,” the message said.

At the same time, the initial cost of public procurement is 672 million rubles.

The contract is expected to be completed by the end of November 2020.
