The United States called Russia and the PRC the main threats in space

Russia and China are challenging the US in space, the Pentagon Intelligence Agency said in a report.

As stated in the department, a number of foreign governments "develop the potential that threatens the ability of other countries to use space."

"China and Russia in particular are taking steps to challenge the United States," the report says.

It indicates that both countries have developed space-capable space units, including space reconnaissance.

In addition, they "develop opportunities for jamming and cyberspace operations, directed energy weapons, defense capabilities in orbit and ground-based anti-satellite missiles."

Also among the countries that challenge in space are Iran and North Korea.

Earlier, the head of the US Air Force Space Command, General John Raymond, said that Russia and the PRC could achieve superiority in the development of military technology in space.
