The prosecution interviewed former President Park Geun-hye for about an hour at a detention center in Seoul this morning and reviewed his medical records.

Two of the prosecutors, including a physician, have confirmed Park's health under a lawyer.

Park is said to be receiving a lumbar disc treatment from an outside oriental doctor once a week in a detention center in Seoul.

The prosecution plans to determine whether to suspend execution based on the results of the visit survey and medical records today.

The committee will consist of seven members, including three prosecutors and three outside experts, with the second deputy director of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office as the chairperson.

The Criminal Procedure Act stipulates that a person can suspend his / her execution if he / she feels that he / she can not significantly impair his health or can not preserve his / her life.

It is possible that the prisoner's age is 70 years old or older, there are circumstances such as pregnancy and childbirth, and there is direct lineage to support, but former President does not apply.

As the conditions are complicated, the rate of exiting from suspension is only 0.4 to 0.5% of the total ex-out.

The prosecution plans to hold a hearing within this week, which will be decided this week as soon as Park's execution is suspended, as the general assembly is scheduled for the day of the hearing.
