Paris Saint-Germain - Liverpool 2: 1 (2: 1)

Ironically Bernat! The defensive player who was knocked out by FC Bayern before the season has given Paris Saint-Germain a big step towards the round of 16. He conceded in the 13th minute Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson with a low shot. It was the reward for from the outset offensively strong playing host, in which the former Schalke Thilo Kehrer was in the starting eleven. Following the Reds tried to shift the gameplay in half of PSG, but came to hardly significant conclusions.

On the opposite side failed only Edinson Cavani to Alisson, the rebound recycled Neymar to 2: 0 (37th minute). James Milner scored the penalty goal (45. + 2). The success for PSG was only the second victory for Thomas Tuchel in the 14th coach duel with Jürgen Klopp. Paris would be sure to qualify for the knockout stages with a win in Belgrade's final match day, while Liverpool will face a direct duel in Napoli's "final" and make the 1-0 draw from Carlo Ancelotti's side.

SSC Napoli - Red Star Belgrade 3: 1 (2: 0)

Thanks to Martin Hamsik (11th) and Dries Mertens (33rd, 52nd), who have made it to Anfield with their good number of points, they were able to win the match against Red Star Belgrade. The goal for Belgrade scored El Fardou Ben Nabouhane after preliminary work by Marko Marin (57.).

While the Serbs can still reach the Europa League in their final match against PSG with a victory (and a simultaneous defeat of Liverpool), Naples is already enough to draw a draw in the premier class. A 1-0 defeat at Liverpool would equal the direct comparison, but Napoli would have the better goal difference. Despite a 1: 2, 2: 3 or 3: 4 defeat, the direct comparison would go to Naples because of the more goals away.

Tottenham Hotspur - Inter Milan 1: 0 (0: 0)

The Spurs remain by the success against Inter in the race for the second round. Moussa Sissoko's goal on the 80th left Tottenham not only equalized on points with the Italians, but also won a direct comparison after a 2-1 win at Inter.

In the first half Mauricio Pochettino's team missed a number of good chances: Harry Kane hit the outside post (7), Erik Lamela took aim (19) and Harry Winks shot the ball in the 38th minute. Tottenham have to score as many points as Inter against Eindhoven on Matchday 12 in Barcelona to reach the last sixteen.

PSV Eindhoven - FC Barcelona 1: 2 (0: 0)

Despite a disappointing performance, FC Barcelona have secured victory in Group B. After their success at the Eindhoven Philips Stadium, Ernesto Valverde's side are no longer in the lead in the final game against Tottenham Hotspur. Lionel Messi (60th) and Gerard Piqué (70th) scored difficult Catalans for much of the encounter. Luuk de Jong scored in the 82nd minute, the 1: 2 from the perspective of the hosts.

Their best opportunity was missed in the 45th minute by de Jong and Denzel Dumfries, who only hit the crossbar and the posts of the opposing goal within seconds. The team of Mark van Bommel ends the group, regardless of the outcome of the last group game at Inter Milan last.
