Sweden were on their way back into the game after recovering from 0–3 to 2–3. Then everything fell apart in the fifth round, where Scotland took four points.
The uphill climb was far too great for the Swedes, who eventually lost 9–7 in Aberdeen.
"It was the unfortunate fourth in the fifth round that ruined the match," says expert Eva Lund.
Sweden now has three wins and two losses in the group stage of the European Curling Championships.
The next game that awaits for Sweden is against Norway, tomorrow at 10:00. The match will be shown on SVT1 and Play.
