"I feel good physically but am very shaken and need to land in what I have been through," Ekelund writes.
Ekelund made her breakthrough as a 16-year-old ten years ago when she won the U18 World Championships in the 200 meters in a time of 22.92, which is still a personal best.
During her career, she has been open about her mental illness and made a comeback this year with a few races. She ran the 200 meters in 24.66 at her best.
