In the women's eight-man sculls final of rowing, the Chinese team consisting of Zhang Shuxian, Yu Siyuan, Bao Lijun, Dong Xiya, Zhang Hairong, Liu Xiaoxin, Wang Zifeng, Xu Xingye and Xu Xiaohan won the gold medal with a time of 6:33.61. This is the 1500,<>th gold medal in the history of the Asian Games of the Chinese sports delegation.
So far, the rowing event of this Asian Games has ended, and the Chinese team has won 13 golds and 11 silvers in the 2 individual events in which it participated.

In the shooting competition, 19-year-old Sheng Lihao broke the world record (10.253 rings) in the men's 3m air rifle individual final with a score of 252.8 rings and won the gold medal. This is also the first world record set by a Chinese athlete at this Asian Games.

In the men's 100m breaststroke final, Qin Haiyang, China's "Frog King" broke the Asian Games record with a time of 57.76 seconds. It was his first gold medal at the Asian Games. Qin Haiyang was one of the flag bearers of the opening ceremony of the Chinese sports delegation at the Asian Games.
