Hangzhou, September 9 (ZXS) -- The three-man basketball competition of the Hangzhou Asian Games began on the basketball court of Deqing Geographic Information Town on 25 September. On the evening of the same day, the Chinese three-man basketball national men's team made its debut, and the Chinese team composed of Liu Yuxuan, Lu Pengcheng, Zhao Jiaren and Zhou Yanxu defeated the first group stage opponent Macao, China 25-21 in Group C of the round-robin tournament.

According to the rules, the participating teams are divided into 4 groups, each group will be rounded within the group, the first place in the group will directly advance to the quarterfinals, the second and third places in the group will play a cross match, and the winner will advance to the quarterfinals.

In the first half of the match, the two sides faced fiercely, the score was tight, and Macau, China, led for a time. At the end of the game, the Chinese team maintained a high offensive efficiency, scored consecutive points, and gradually widened the point difference. In the end, China defeated Macau 21-16 to win the first game.

China's Zhao Jiaren performed well, scoring a game-high nine points. Zhao Jiaren, who played in the China Men's Basketball Professional League (CBA) last season, plays for Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club, a local team in Zhejiang. He is no stranger to the three-man basketball court that night. However, playing against opponents at the Asian Games is an experience he has never experienced before.

"The Asian opponents are really different from the European opponents we played in the summer, they [the Asian players] are fast-paced, hard-working, have more outside projections, break through, and it's easy to disrupt our rhythm. It's a different challenge for us. Zhao Jiaren talked about his first experience of the Asian Games.
