LaLiga will denounce before the Anti-Violence Commission the alleged "intimidation" of a group of ultras of Atlético de Madrid to a girl who wore the shirt of Vinicius Júnior in the vicinity of the Civitas Metropolitano stadium, just before the start of the Madrid derby between the rojiblanco team and Real Madrid. As EL MUNDO has been able to confirm, the organization chaired by Javier Tebas already has the images of the events and is trying to contact the victim's family in order to clarify the situation.
As Cadena Ser advanced, "violent Atletico fans intimidated a black girl and her mother for wearing a Vinicius shirt." Both were on their way to watch the game when they were rebuked with shouts such as "Vikings, no" or "madridistas, sons of bitches". According to the media, "several insulted them with monkey onomatopoeia."
It has been an unfortunate image within an atmosphere of healthy rivalry between the two fans, who beyond that incident shared the previous one without major brawls.
LaLiga sends a letter of complaint every week to the RFEF Competition Committee and the Anti-Violence Commission with those chants that occur in football matches that incite violence or have an insulting or intolerant content. These chants are included as prohibited behaviors and therefore punishable, both in the Code of Sports Discipline of the RFEF and in the Legislation against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport.
LaLiga also makes available to fans who attend the matches an email box to send their complaints, suggestions or requirements in order to contribute to the fight against violence in the stadiums. The address is: laligavs@laliga.es.
