Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all on the list of 25 players with the most goals and assists since 2000.

Ronaldo is the top scorer in football history, with the Portuguese star scoring 844 goals for both club and national team since his professional debut in 2003, a very exceptional number. But is he still in the lead when assists are taken into account?

Messi may be narrowly behind Ronaldo when it comes to goals, but his extraordinary tally of assists has seen him top of the list by a wide margin.

Despite being two years younger than Ronaldo, the Argentine star has directly contributed 93 more goals than his eternal rival, averaging an astonishing 1.13 goals or assists per game, and still has great performances with Inter Miami, making catching him an almost impossible task for any player in the near future.
