"There is a desire to punish him": Datsik - about the conflict with Shtyrkov, as well as about the fight with Zhaslanov and the state of Emelianenko

As you know, Vyacheslav Datsik prefers to fight as often as possible. This year alone, he has already managed to fight twice: first he knocked out Geronimo Dos Santos, and then lost to Kevin Johnson by decision in a boxing match. The third confrontation will turn out to be special, because the Russian will go to fight in Kazakhstan for the first time, where he will face off with Galym Zhaslanov on June 23 in Almaty.

Two weeks before the confrontation, the rivals had a rather unusual battle of views. It was preceded by the determination of the force of blows with the help of a special pear. Both fighters showed approximately the same performance - about 400 kg. The best was one of the guests of the event, ex-UFC fighter Khadis Ibragimov, who overcame the mark of 600 kg.

For the time being, everything went smoothly. Red Tarzan joked a lot, talked to everyone and actually played the role of leader. The atmosphere was heated by Zhaslanov himself, who pasted a photo of his opponent on the pear during the blows.

It is not surprising that during the battle of views, the parties almost converged in hand-to-hand combat ahead of time. It is worth noting that the representative of Kazakhstan behaved more aggressively, who began to push Datsik with his head, and then grabbed him by the neck. Fortunately, the athletes restrained their emotions and shook hands. It will be all the more interesting to watch their fight in the octagon.

— Did you expect your opponent to behave so aggressively and hang your photo on a pear?

- I can only say one thing: it's tough. Let him train better. I want to assure you: my head is not as soft as a pear. Of course, I wanted to offer it to him, but then the fight, I'm afraid, would be in jeopardy. Zhaslanov would have to treat his arm for a fracture for two weeks. This is a promo, promotion of the fight. Where can we go without it?

- Galym previously promised to "move all Russian pop MMA fighters." Are you ready to take revenge on him for these words?

- It will definitely be difficult for him to beat everyone. Let him deal with me before he gets to the others. So far, I am the main obstacle in his way, and believe me, it will not be easy for Galymzhan to pass me. First you need to dodge my collective farms, so that one of them does not hit the target.

- A few days ago there was a video of how you lifted a kettlebell weighing 65.5 kg.

- Well, they indulged. To be honest, I don't really deal with iron in training. They just put these big weights in their hands, and I tried to lift them. I set much more fun records when I was in places not so remote. There, six people jumped on me right from the table, and I squatted with them. But the room, as luck would have it, was slippery. As a result, the legs parted, and the sixth flew to the "ban" on top of the barbed wire. That was fun.

- You know that Zhaslanov also served ten years in prison, only in Kazakhstan?

"I've heard something like that. Well, I'm bigger - 13. It turns out that in this respect the advantage is on my side. Although what is this advantage? Vice versa. Unfortunately, there are many such "gifted" people from places not so remote.

- You will fight Zhaslanov in Kazakhstan. Is it important for you to increase recognition and popularity in new countries?

- I know that I definitely already have personal fans there. The main difficulty lies in acclimatization. We will arrive at the site in four days, and acclimatization will begin on the fourth. And there is already a good height. Therefore, the fight will turn out to be much more difficult than the previous ones in Moscow. And so, of course, it is interesting to go to a new place. It's hard to say where else I would like to fight. Probably the best thing is to perform at home when everyone is rooting for you.

- After the victory over Dos Santos at the end of March, you had a duel of views right in the octagon with Gadzhi Navruzov. Then he was recovering from a fracture of his left arm and jokingly offered to fight on the right. Now the plaster has already been removed, and you have seen each other face to face again. Is your meeting in development?

- When he recovers, then we'll see. I am sure that this confrontation will gather a lot of people in the stands.

- Most recently, Vladimir Khryunov said that you can get together with Alexei Oleinik. After the defeat of the latter by knockout, are these plans in force?

"I'd rather avenge him on Oli Thompson." I don't know if there will be a meeting with the Briton, but I want to take revenge for Lekha. Why should we fight among ourselves? Moreover, we are friends. Let's see when the promoters see fit to arrange a fight with Thompson.

- Did you watch the fight itself? Wasn't it a pity for Alexei?

- Of course, I did not even imagine that the result would be so sad for Oleinik. Alas, this is a heavy weight, and here any plop may be the last. Lyokha began to fight, tried to throw him, spent his strength and slowed down a little. At this point, Thompson had his knockout blow. I felt very sorry for Alexei, as well as for the whole country. Despite the painful defeat of Lekha, believe me, at the age of 45 he does not think to end his career. On the contrary, he is already training, recovering and preparing.

- You have repeatedly fought at the tournaments of the Fight Club REN TV. Can you explain what happened in the fight between Alexander Emelianenko and Evgeny Ershov?

"What happened is what you saw. Ershov should not have meddled in the fight. If we are talking about a "performance", then this is a bad production on the part of Eugene. He also substituted himself for a painful hold.

- Were you shocked by the condition of Emelianenko Jr., who could hardly stand on his feet?

- In addition, he had problems with his shoulder, and this is just understandable. Any fighter always has some kind of injury. We are all like this: one injury is a little healed - you enter the ring. You can't go anywhere without it. And where will Sanya go? He is a warrior, a fighter. He earns a living from fights, that's why he fights. Emelianenko will continue to fight. You just need him to stay away from strong drinks and get in good shape.

- In the spring, you came into conflict with Ivan Shtyrkov and even offered him to fight, but it was not possible to reach an agreement. Is this the end of the story?

"Let's see what he proposes. I am ready. We are waiting for specific options. To be honest, I was surprised by Shtyrkov's harsh, disrespectful statements. I always treated him normally and did not think that he would start inciting like that. I don't understand why he started insulting me. This is Ivan's personal business. It remains for me to prove everything to him in the ring. I hope that the match between us will still take place, and we will find out who is right. I have a desire to punish him.
