Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career on the football pitch lasted almost a quarter of a century at the professional level, during which he teamed up hundreds of players of different nationalities with 9 different clubs, defending their colors, one of them in two different eras.

And dropped the "Sultan" curtain on his career officially on Monday, after the end of the match Milan and Hellas Verona in the last round of the Italian league for the past season.

Zlatan, 41, has previously revealed the best squad of players he has played alongside during his career with clubs: Malmö, Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Milan (on two spells), Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and LA Galaxy.

Tears in everyone's eyes.

Ibra wrote the names of those players in his own handwriting on a piece of paper, which he listed on one of the pages of his book "I am football" and republished them on his official account on "Instagram".

Spanish newspaper AS reported the names of those players with the description Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave them in his book.

Current Parma goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who previously played for Zlatan at Juventus, described him as "the strongest and best goalkeeper in the world".

Also at Juventus, Zlatan teamed up with Lilian Thuram, who chose him at right-back, and the Swede said that each training session was like a World Cup final for him.

At the heart of the defense was found the name of Brazilian Thiago Silva and teamed at Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, where the Swede called him a strange description of "needles in defense".

In addition to Silva, Ibrahimovic chose his former Milan team-mate Alessandro Nesta who has "always made the right decisions", according to the sultan.

At left-back appeared Brazilian Maxwell "a very elegant player".

The midfield trio are Frenchman Patrick Vieira from Juventus and Inter, who described him as a "mule" for the strength of his body, and next to him Xavi Hernandez from Barcelona, where he said that he "did not make a mistake when they called him the ideal master, he is a player who does not make mistakes", and then Czech Pavel Nedved at Juventus, who is "the most dangerous professional I have ever seen".

In the front line, Ibrahimovic put Argentina's Lionel Messi from Barcelona on the right wing and described him as "a PlayStation player, the best of all time", and on the left Ronaldinho from Milan and described him as a "genius", and the spearhead was the Swede himself.

Zlatan did not forget the rest of the team from the reserves, choosing Dutchman Clarence Seedorff and Gennaro Gattuso from Milan, Fabio Cannavaro from Juventus and Andres Iniesta from Barcelona.

The substitute goalkeeper was Spaniard David De Gea from Manchester United before Zlatan crossed him off and replaced him with Brazilian Julio Cesar from Inter.
