Sweden's greatest footballer of all time, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has retired. Another king, Carl XVI Gustaf, pays tribute to Ibrahimovic, whom he has seen as an inspiration for a long time.
"I've been there a couple of times and met him in different contexts and it's always been inspiring and interesting. He has a great career behind him. There are many Swedes who have had wonderful experiences watching TV and had their hearts in the pit of their throats many times, he says to TT.
Now the king hopes that even if he stops playing football, Zlatan can continue to be an inspiration to young people.
"I hope he can continue to encourage young people to be sporty and take care of themselves and live a good life as he has been able to do thanks to this sport that he has developed in a nice way. He's done a great job.
