• 38th day Final classification in First

A penalty in the 87th minute of the last day of the League ended up deciding the relegation. Although there were six fans with bated breath, the fall to hell was played in two fields: in Cornellà, with goals, and in Zorrilla, where it was more speculated than played. The relegation was falling from Valladolid to Almeria to return to Pucela definitively when Adrián Embarba, from the penalty spot, beat Joan García to put a 3-3 on the scoreboard that saved the Andalusians. And it is that everything happened in the field of an Espanyol that, although it arrived relegated and showed its discomfort with the arbitrations not playing the first minute of the game, put the set of Rubi against the ropes.

Almeria went ahead with a goal from El Bilal, but two minutes later Puado equalized. The point was enough looking at Zorrilla's 49-2 draw, but in the 1th minute Pierre-Gabriel scored and that <>-<> sent Almería to the Second Division. In Valladolid it was celebrated until Embarba drew and did it again when Koleosho overtook Espanyol again. But the penalty spot decided and Espanyol could no longer save the Pucelanos.

VEIGA, SALVADOR

Celta needed a hero to appear to scare away the ghost of relegation that had been installed in Balaídos in recent days and that was Gabri Veiga. The boy shone again in the final and decisive moments of a championship that Celta complicated without realizing it. The visit of Barça was not the best end and had to overcome scares until the first of Veiga fell, which made Balaídos explode, and the second, of beautiful vaseline, which unleashed madness. It no longer mattered that the canterano, the day of his greatest glory, did not finish the game due to injury. In case he does not step on the stadium again, the stands pronounced: "Veiga yes. Mouriño, no." The message to Barça was sent by Ansu Fati with his tenth goal when he has the doors open.

THE FEAST OF JOAQUIN

Benito Villamarín wanted a party to say goodbye to Joaquín and he had it. The Betic captain took the field in his 622nd game crying and did it again with the tremendous ovation that gave him the whole stadium standing when they waited for the start of the second half. Nothing compared to what happened in the 58th minute when Pellegrini took him off the pitch. Betis could pay homage to its myth while the lump in the throat was held by the Valencianistas. A victory gave Valencia salvation without looking at other fields, but a goal from Ayoze in the first minute complicated everything. A homegrown player, Diego López, had to appear again to sign the tie and end the Valencian suffering.

SERGIO SUPPORTS CADIZ

The coach chained his second permanence that guarantees the Cadiz team its fourth consecutive season in First, something that did not happen for 30 years. He did it by drawing against Elche and without too much suffering. A goal from Escalante in the 10th minute put him in the lead and, although Elche tried to say goodbye with victory, not even Boyé's equalizer in the 71st put them in danger.

OSASUNA, TO EUROPE

To this last day of the League also came at stake the last European place, which gives access to the Conference League. Osasuna won it by beating Girona with two goals from Budimir (2-1) and Arrasate's team will play again in Europe 16 years later. His last participation was in the 2006/07 season, in the UEFA Cup. Also, as Cup finalist, he will play the Super Cup.

FAREWELL TO MATEU LAHOZ

The Valencian referee refereed in Son Moix his last game in LaLiga and ended up cheered by the stands, with corridor of Mallorca and Lightning and in tears. He has managed 288 games in his career and UEFA reserves one for him for his farewell as an international.
