Horror injury for IFK Göteborg's Emil Salomonsson

An early change was thus a fact. And it didn't get any better for the blue and whites when Mjällby took the lead with just under an hour played.

An edge free kick reached Adam Ståhl after a couple of headers, who attempted a bicycle kick. It turned out to be a good decision, and the ball flew in front of goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg and into the goal at the far post.

1-0 was the final score in the match, which means that Mjällby breaks their three-game losing streak. For Gothenburg, it is the second straight loss after playing five games without a loss before that.
