With less than 100 days to go until the start of the Rugby World Cup, preparations continue. Especially on the side of the manufacture of the jerseys of the French players, which will be 100% "made in France" and manufactured in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube. Europe 1 went to the factory where they are made, with meticulousness and "love".

D-100 before the opening of the Rugby World Cup in France. The competition is also trying to transform the essay on the environmental side with medals made from recycled mobile phones. And on the field, the Blues will also wear a jersey 100% "made in France". They are manufactured by the Coq Sportif, the equipment manufacturer of the XV tricolore. Europe 1 has pushed the door of the factory based in Romilly-sur-Seine, in the Aube.

"You need quality"

"Come closer, let me see if there is no lag. No, that's good." Glasses on her nose and tape measure in hand, Sebastiana inspects the seams. From the spool of yarn to the blue dye, everything is 100% French, explains Dorine, design manager. "The two main subjects come from Ardèche. The print, which is made on it, is also made in France and the confection is entirely made in Romilly."

"Great pride"

To make a jersey, it takes about five hours. So the factory doubled its number of seamstresses. An important criterion for Serge Simon, vice-president of the French Rugby Federation. "Industrial relocation and industrial relocation is a real issue. The fact of wearing this jersey 'made in France' and participating in this national effort is a great pride," explains Serge Simon.
