Incidents erupted on the sidelines of the Europa League final between Sevilla and AS Roma. Three people were injured, while seven were arrested by police. The final is played tonight and will be live in "Europe 1 Sport".

Three people were injured and seven others arrested in clashes between fans ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Europa League final in Budapest between AS Roma and Sevilla FC. "Several people fought" in the early afternoon in the streets of the Hungarian capital hosting the competition, police said in a statement.

Prosecution for "hooliganism"

"A Spaniard and a Swede were taken to hospital for additional care," said the police, indicating that "prosecutions have been initiated for hooliganism" and that "seven Poles have been arrested". The two clubs are expecting 15,000 fans in the stands at the Puskas Arena, a stadium with a capacity of 68,000 seats. Six times winner of the Europa League since 2006, Sevilla FC tries the pass of seven against AS Roma, again on the front of the stage in a final of the European Cup.
