Kristianstad Swedish handball champion – won after huge snatch against Sävehof

A big celebration broke out in Kristianstad after the final whistle in tonight's decisive Swedish Championship final.

The home team won the fifth meeting with Sävehof (30–23) after a big jolt at the end of the game.

"It's so incredibly good. We are so strong over five games, says Anton Halén and stretches his hands out to the crowd.

He then continues:

"This is what is different. The eighth player. With this in mind, we are so strong.

Markus Olsson: "Magic"

Kristianstad's star Markus Olsson showed the way throughout the final series. During Monday's decider, he accounted for nine goals – clearly the most of any player on the pitch.

"It's like a dream to win at home. It's a little too good to be true. Absolutely magical, says Olsson.

This is the first time since 2018 that Kristianstad has won the Swedish Championship. The final series ended 3–2 in games.
