FC Bayern may have finished the season as champions, but they are still throwing themselves back into chaos. At the PK of the Bayern bosses on Sunday, it becomes clear that the nickname FC Hollywood once again fits like a glove.

Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president:

"It so happened that on Thursday we Uli Hoeneß and I held talks with Hasan Salihamidžić and Oliver Kahn because we wanted to tell the two people affected early enough so that they would have time to deal with the situation. So that they have time to think about it. Also out of respect for these two deserving icons of FC Bayern Munich, who were not only managers, but also played here for many years. And as I saw from the pictures yesterday with Hasan had worked out very, very well. We've mutually agreed, he'll go to Cologne, he'll be there, and the fact that we'll be champions is even nicer. We had the same conversation with Oliver Kahn. Unfortunately, that didn't go so well, I have to say. That was very emotional and at the end of the day we couldn't agree with Oliver that we could get the end done amicably. And then we sat down again with the Supervisory Board on Friday evening, an extraordinary meeting, and decided to dismiss Oliver Kahn. And because of this situation, of course, he couldn't go to Cologne on Saturday. Yes, I would say, on the one hand, of course, it was the way we played in the second half of the season. I've said that before, and you've written it often enough in the media, that it's not FC Bayern as we imagine it. And the other thing was, and I have to say this, there was a certain amount of uncertainty within the workforce, also at Säbener Straße, which we perceived as warning signals and which we also perceived as such. Many stations. We agreed a two-year contract with Jan Dreesen, and I think I can say that: we were both very happy with it, because we said we'd start over now, we'll do it together. And I am absolutely convinced that we will have a great success there. We have known each other for ten years. I was on the audit committee, we worked together there and we were both very happy with the situation. I could say so."

Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO:

"And if I may add: In the almost ten years of working together with Kalle Rummenigge, I have learned that we are in a rather short-lived business. And Kalle Rummenigge has only ever planned for one year, and that's why the duration of my contract wasn't really important to me, if I'm honest."

Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president:

"Yes, but a year would have been too short for me."

Jan-Christian Dreesen, FC Bayern CEO:

"One year would have been too short. I wouldn't have been able to do so much.«
