Despite being at a disadvantage after the first period, Sam Hallam believes that Sweden started the game well.

"I think we start the game the way we want to do. We handle them scoring a goal in a pretty good way, says Tre Kronor's head coach.

Sweden equalised, and had an excellent opportunity to take the lead when Latvia received a match penalty. Despite the powerplay for five minutes, however, Tre Kronor did not pay dividends.

"I don't think it's ruining, but it leaves a certain mark. Latvia is growing from that task, says Hallam, whose first championship ended in failure.

"It's hugely disappointing. Right now, we are incredibly disappointed. We came here for something completely different than going out in the quarter-finals.
