• Football Four people arrested for 'hanging' a Vinicius doll on a bridge before the Cup derby against Atletico

Those arrested for allegedly hanging a doll on a bridge with Vinicius' shirt during the early hours of January 26 have been charged with hate crimes and against moral integrity, according to legal sources.

Those arrested have been provisionally released and are prohibited from approaching and communicating with the player as a precautionary measure. In addition, they can not approach less than 1,000 meters from the sports city of Real Madrid, where the events occurred, or any First Division stadium during the celebration of the matches.

The four, of which three of them are ultras of Atlético de Madrid, have taken advantage of their right not to declare after being arrested by the Police from the tracking of the photograph of the doll hanging from a bridge that one of them shared on social networks.

These arrests took place amid the scandal over the racist insults that Vinicius received during his last match against Valencia in Mestalla. The Valencian Prosecutor's Office opened proceedings and three young people between 18 and 21 years old were arrested and investigated for an alleged crime against fundamental rights and public freedoms. In addition, Competition sanctioned Valencia with the closure of its animation stand for the next five games.
