AIK remains in the bottom swamp of Allsenskan. In the important away game against Degerfors came another loss and the team's sixth straight game without a win.

The situation it will be talked about after the game happened at the end of the first half. Then Omar Faraj challenged Seid Korac and fell. Referee Granit Maqedonci initially awarded a penalty but after discussion with the linesman, he chose to reverse his decision, which made the teams go to the break in a 1-1 draw.

"It's a clear punishment, why should I lie down there? It feels like I'm past him, he puts his foot, the referee awards a penalty but chooses to go to the linesman who is like 50 yards away and is going to take it from there; I don't understand anything," Omar Faraj said on Discovery's broadcast

"Not a well-played match"

After a messy situation after a corner, not unlike the one where Sebastian Ohlsson equalized for IFK Göteborg against AIK in Monday, Degerfors was able to score 2-1 and the happiness was total at Stora Valla.

AIK had some pressure at the end but failed to equalise. The victory means that AIK – if Sirius and Varberg win their matches – will be last in Allsvenskan.

"It wasn't a well-played game like that, but we set our defense, they don't get into so many dangerous situations. Here at home at Valla we are strong and as long as we score points here, it still feels good, says midfielder Christos Gravius.

The AIK fans were furious after the match and confronted the players who walked up to the heel with boos and gestures.

"Five seconds of play, stand and say we're going to turn this around in an easy way, it's not. We are in the position we are in because we are performing about as well as Degerfors today, that is our level right now, says AIK's coach Andreas Brännström.
