Beijing, May 5 -- According to the China Aviation Sports Association, on May 16, with the end of the final round of precision landing, the second National Light Aircraft Championship ended in Xinchang Wanfeng Aviation Town. Pilot Huang Zhi and navigator Wang Hongxing from Shanghai Bridge Maple Team 5 were crowned the three champions of precision landing, pilot flight and overall results with their outstanding performance, becoming the biggest winners of this competition.

This year's National Light Aircraft Championship has two subjects, pilot flight and precision landing, and each subject will compete for three rounds, and the top eight in each subject will be determined and the top eight in the overall score.

Pilot flight mainly tests the pilot's basic piloting ability. That is, the pilot does not refer to electronic navigation equipment such as satellites and mobile phones, but only uses paper maps and compasses, and realizes the flight method of arriving on time by visually comparing landmarks on the ground. "We usually mainly teach more flying, this kind of flight training that only relies on paper maps and compasses is relatively small, through this competition we have a new understanding of pilot flight, and we will focus on strengthening this training in the future." Although crowned champion, Huang Zhi, the pilot of Shanghai Qiaofeng 1 team, still feels that there is still a lot of room for improvement.

"This thicker line in the middle of the runway is the zero zone, and it is the best performance to fall here, full score." According to Zhang Wei, the chief referee, there are many white lines on the runway, which are the landing areas of precise landing subjects, and the pilot is required to accurately land in the designated position when landing, and there can be no deviation, and the greater the deviation, the more points will be deducted.
