Last season, Frida Karlsson, Maja Dahlqvist and Linn Svahn chose to reject the Swedish ski team and train on their own.
But on Thursday, the return could become a fact. Then the squads will be selected for the coming season – and national team captain Moa Ilar believes that we can see Karlsson, Dahlqvist and Svahn in the team.
"I hope so. It feels like we have good energy in the group and we have had a fantastic season behind us. I think it will be a big and nice team, says Ilar.
"Opened my eyes"
The star trio has been critical of the skater agreements in the national team and said that they need better conditions for signing the agreements.
"Their way of choosing to stand outside has opened their eyes to the management when it comes to taking the riders very seriously. I believe and hope that their criticism has been well received and that we have managed it in the best way, says Ilar.
