It has been a messy few days in IK Uppsala. Immediately after the match against Djurgården, coaches Jonas Valfridsson and Rikard Östergren resigned "due to personal reasons", and yesterday the team lost away to Vittsjö.

Team captain Agnes Nyberg has described the situation as "an emergency situation" – and SVT Sport's expert Hanna Marklund understands why.

"Of course it's a very sad situation. You get a little worried about the whole club. It seems to be a bit rocky, says Marklund and continues:

"You need to work together to find alternatives going forward. You need to build a larger organization to be in Damallsvenskan and run the business in a good way.

Players in Uppsala have been unhappy with how the club management has handled the situation. Something that worries Marklund.

"It is worrying that there is this disagreement. It is a sign that things have not been handled well enough for a long time. In the end, you can't keep the unified façade," she says.
