With four straight losses in the run-up to Allsvenskan, IFK Göteborg makes its worst start to the season in the highest league since 1953.

A revenge "Blue and White" also opened well at home against Norrköping and Sebastian Ohlsson broke the team's long goal zero when he scored the season's first (!) goal in the eighth minute. Elias Hagen played forward.

The visitors equalized in the 28th minute after sloppy defending by the home team, where goalkeeper Adam Benediktsson also accounted for a costly goalkeeper return that Emil Salomonsson accidentally bumped into his own goal cage, in close battle with an advancing Christoffer Nyman.

The last thing that happened in the first half was that Nyman came close to slicing in 2-1, but the ball was cleared away at the last moment.

IFK Göteborg came close, close to breaking the curse when they got a huge goal to decide in the final stages of the game, but Norrköping goalkeeper Oscar Jansson made a big save and made a save.

Gothenburg is still the jumbo in Allsvenskan but the point was the team's first of the season.
