Wang Fengchao said at the meeting that in order to meet the public's demand for viewing as much as possible, the Executive Committee of the Universiade has carefully organized and prepared in accordance with the principle of "open hosting of the Games", and all events in all venues that meet the conditions for viewing the Games are fully open for ticket sales, and plans to fully launch ticket sales in early June.

He also said that the venue will set up audience service desks, stroller storage points, wheelchair borrowing points, as well as audience medical stations, mother and baby rooms, barrier-free special passages, toilets and other facilities, and provide bilingual versions of the "Viewing Guide" in Chinese and English to effectively meet the various needs of the audience.

Wang Jiayi, Vice Minister of Education of China and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Chengdu Universiade, introduced the formation of the Chinese university sports delegation at the meeting. "This Universiade designed 18 major events, and we participated in all of them. There are also many small projects, and we strive to participate in them all. We send athletes to all events. At present, there are more than 800 members of the delegation, including about 500 athletes. ”

Zhou Jinqiang, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sports of China and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Chengdu Universiade, said that the Organizing Committee of the Chengdu Universiade attaches great importance to anti-doping work, formulates a doping inspection plan in strict accordance with the technical standards and requirements of the International Sports Federation, and coordinates and strives for the recognition of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Seventy-eight doping inspectors will be assigned to carry out inspections during the competition.

The Chengdu Universiade is the first time that a world multi-sport event has been held in western China.
